In designing the Airbit mobile app, I conceptualized an innovative solution to ensure users could effortlessly explore and browse available beats. Collaborating with STRV, I designed a TikTok-like feed that allowed users to scroll through a curated selection of beats, each represented by a unique visual LP. When a beat was played, the LP would turn, providing a visual cue that the beat was playing. Swiping up revealed additional details, such as the producer’s name and the price.
Although this project did not progress beyond the design phase, the feed concept was crafted to make exploring and browsing beats more engaging and interactive, offering users a visually rich and intuitive experience. The design process focused on enhancing user engagement, ensuring the app would be enjoyable and easy to navigate. With Airbit’s community of over 1 million users, this project exemplifies the potential for innovative and user-centered design solutions.
