I meticulously designed and helped build the entire Barry’s X platform from the ground up in collaboration with the STRV agency. This comprehensive process included integrating Barry’s existing reservation system and migrating their entire user base to the new platform. I contributed to delivering a suite of applications across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Apple Watch, Android phone, Tablet, Web, Web Admin, and a Web Membership app to enhance the in-app experience.
By transforming Barry’s from a brick-and-mortar-only business into a digital powerhouse, I brought the in-person experience into the digital world. The final product features a social networking component that connects members of the global Barry’s community, fully customizable privacy settings, exclusive membership opportunities, hundreds of on-demand workouts, and over 150 weekly live-stream classes.
In these classes, instructors can see and push participants to keep going, while members can see and motivate one another, replicating the real-life experience. Over 140K members of the Barry’s Fit Fam take class every week, benefiting from this seamless blend of physical and digital fitness.
